Ben has been writing childrenβs stories for the last 40 years. He wrote primarily for the enjoyment of his two children, Matthew and Lindsey, reinforcing societal moral understandings of a quality community member. As his children grew, he realized that there was a need to share these stories with other children, inspiring their "moral character" and so began his publishing career.
To date, he has written several childrenβs books including, “The Doodads of Lindsey Love,” “The Legend of Lucas Green,” “Matthew and the Sea,” “Sam-Sam the Seagull Man,” and “Five Part Harmony.” Several of which are in the process of publication. He also has written an Anthology of Poems for his adult audience with a focus on "moral character", nature, love, and life.
Stories that spread joy and kindness to little hearts
In the cheerful town of Niceville lives a remarkable little girl named Lindsey Love whose kindness has the power to change an entire community.
Through the simple act of giving soft, cuddly "doodads," Lindsey inspires the people around her to share love, generosity, and goodwill with one another. Soon, kindness spreads throughout the town as neighbors pass their doodads along, turning small acts of giving into a powerful chain reaction.
But when greed and selfishness begin to take hold, Lindsey must find a clever way to remind everyone of the true joy that comes from helping others.
Written in delightful rhyming verse, “The Doodads of Lindsey Love” is a heartwarming children's story that teaches young readers the timeless values of kindness, empathy, generosity, and community.
Perfect for parents, teachers, and classrooms, this uplifting tale encourages children to see how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in the world.
A charming and meaningful story that children will want to read again and again.
